Water Celebration 2004
Exploring Watersheds & Streams of the Driftless Area
As a monitor or supporter of the the IOWATER program, you are invited to attend Water Celebration 2004 on October 2nd in Platteville, WI. Stream monitors past and present, members of watershed organizations and conservation clubs, teachers and students and anyone else interested in streams and water quality will find something of interest at this year's Water Celebration.
There will be two concurrent sessions running throughout the day. The Stream Study I: Science and Research Update session will bring together some of the area's leaders in stream studies to present and discuss their current projects. The Stream Study II: Hands-On and Feet Wet session will teach participants about watersheds and streams through interactive games and hands-on activities appropriate for Middle and High School students and interested adults.
