Desethyl Atrazine:  A degradate product or metabolite of atrazine.  Measured in µg/L or ppb.  Desethyl atrazine is the most common degradate of atrazine detected in Iowa's surface waters and groundwater. 
Desisopropyl Atrazine:  A degradate product or metabolite of atrazine.  Measured in µg/L or ppb.  Of the atrazine metabolites, desisopropyl atrazine is not as commonly detected in Iowa's surface waters and groundwater as desethyl atrazine.
 Dimethenamid:  A herbicide for weed control in corn, dry beans, sorghum, and soybeans.  Dimethenamid is in the chloroacetamide family of herbicides.  Measured in µg/L or ppb.  Frontier, Century, and Guardsman are some of the product names. 
EPTC:  An herbicide in the carbamate family that is used to control annual grasses, perennial weeds, broadleaf weeks in beans, and forage legumes.  Measured in µg/L or ppb.  DoublePlay is one of the product names. 
Metolachlor:  A common herbicide in the chloracetanilide family of herbicides.  Measured in µg/L or ppb.  Metolachlor has a Health Advisory Level of 100 µg/L or ppb.  Dual is one of the product names. 
Metribuzin:  A common herbicide in the triazine family of herbicides.  Used to control grasses and broadleaf weeds.  Measured in µg/L or ppb.   Sencor is one of the product names.
